Emergency Vehicles & Police are called upon to respond to emergencies every day. Emergency vehicles include non-transporting EMS vehicles that can carry almost as much equipment as an ambulance at a much lower cost. Typically, they lack the ability to transport a patient while still being able to treat a patient at the scene, and if necessary, call in additional assistance. This helps emergency medical organizations save resources on several levels and increase the number of units available to respond to emergencies.

Sudden Cardiac Arrest is caused by chaotic electrical activity in the heart and can only be treated with an electric shock called defibrillation.
